General Information

We are located on an attractive and quiet beach block in Barnegat Light, only 5 houses away from the beach, then a quick walk over a fully boardwalked (and scenic) beach path. It is a family-friendly location, located mid-block and with no streets to cross.

The beach here is exceptionally beautiful, is never overcrowded and has a fully-manned lifeguard station from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in season.

The lighthouse state park is just 12 blocks away. There are also free childrens activities such as "Stories by the Sea," and craft projects at the state park in season.

Bring your bicycles (or you can rent them just a few blocks away), and explore the town and nearby High Bar Harbor. There is a playground, a new skateboarding park, and public tennis courts just a few blocks away. Don't forget to visit Viking Village on the bay and 19th Street, a commercial seaport with quaint theme shops, a fresh fish market, and a fleet of charter boats for fishing and sunset cruises. Other conveniences within easy walking distance include a market, video and bike rental place, and a bank with an ATM If you have a boat, go ahead and bring it--the public boat ramp is close by on 10th Street

Arts and crafts, flea markets and antique fairs are frequently held in Barnegat Light during the warm season and on holidays. There are also some wonderful antique and gift shops in town.
